You’re just a few minutes walking distance away from the heart of downtown Saranac Lake, making it easy to slip into shops, cafes, and restaurants whenever you want. From the house, you have immediate access to the water. Paddlers can launch into Lake Flower and explore the larger Saranac Chain of Lakes right from the shoreline. The calm coves are perfect for morning paddles, while the open stretches invite longer canoe or kayak journeys. Trailheads and nature walks are equally close. Gentle routes like the Bloomingdale Bog Trail or the Adirondack Rail Trail are just a short drive, offering flat and scenic paths for walking or biking. For something more vigorous, Baker Mountain is right nearby and rewards even a short climb with sweeping views of the lakes and peaks. Larger trail networks in the Saranac Lakes Wild Forest are easily accessible, giving you miles of hiking, snowshoeing, and skiing opportunities. In every season, the setting feels immersive. Fall blazes with red and gold foliage mirrored on the water. Winter brings snow-blanketed pines and nearby skiing. Spring awakens the forests and waterfalls, while summer fills the town with festivals and the lake with boats. What makes Harbor Hill special is its sweet spot between convenience and wildness. Winter requires 4WD + snow tires; do not attempt the hill without them !!!Property is not wheelchair accessible; surfaces may be slippery in winter 🛶 Guest Access Entire 3-bedroom house Private waterfront & dock Complimentary seasonal boats Parking for 2 cars max ⚖️ Liability By booking, guests agree to hold harmless and indemnify Whispering Hearth, LLC, the Owner, and Harbor Hill HOA from all claims for property damage, personal injury, or monetary loss resulting from actions or omissions of Occupants during or relating to your stay. ✨ Hemlock House combines the best of both worlds: peaceful lakefront living and walkable access to the heart of Saranac Lake. 🛎️ Please note: There is a separate apartment above the garage, it is completely separate from the main cabin with no shared entrances. While it’s rarely in use, you’ll always receive notice should we be onsite for brief seasonal visits or essential maintenance. Your privacy and comfort are a top priority.
